The Turing-test is developped by the mathematican Alan Turing
and becomes used for testing the 'quality' of an artificial intelligence.
Testpersons in a laboratory hold a keyboard-based communication
with AIs and carbon-based beings. The Turing-test is suppossed
to be past when the tester, cannot decide anymore, whether he
is communicating with a human or a machine. In being succesful
in the test, this machine or software becomes referred to as 'intelligent'.
This is one of the definitions of intelligence in the AI-research.
